The Associate Manager for Portfolio Marketing is responsible for supporting the strategic development, management and growth of both the Uterine and Pelvic Health portfolios to fulfill our vision of establishing new standards of care. This role focused on enhancing women’s lives and their well-being through differentiated, evidence-based solutions for minimally invasive procedures. This person contributes to the insights, assessments and early product development pipeline work, in concert with the Innovation team, Strategy & Business Development colleagues and R&D engineers. The Associate Manager of Portfolio Marketing will report to the Senior Manager of Pelvic Health portfolio, and will work on several projects within the assigned product line from conceptual stages, through development to launch and manages product life cycle - including discontinuation across geographies. The candidate will be a key thought leader and influencer of cross-functional product teams to drive profitable growth.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the target personas, buyer journey, product portfolio, market trends and competitors within Pelvic and Uterine Health, and champion the portfolio across the marketing eco-system 
  • Support the strategy for the both Uterine and Pelvic Health Portfolios across all sites of service to help achieve the business objectives
  • Assist with market, product and clinical research to identify and define opportunities to support business growth through sound clinical marketing evidence.
  • Partner with Brand Manager of Uterine Health portfolio and the Senior Manager of Pelvic Health portfolio to identify new consumer insights, create product positioning, assess market potential, develop compelling business cases, run competitive tracking and determine buying process.
  • Be part of market research to understand market sizes, addressable segments, pricing, dynamics, competition, share position, customer drivers across multiple product lines.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products supported not only by research, but also on-going visits to customers (MD’s, payers, patients), key opinion and thought leaders, and potential partners.
  • Support Uterine and Pelvic Health product launches by developing and delivering launch plans in alignment with the business strategy, ensuring clean handoff to Brands Managers
  • With guidance, work on product positioning, value propositions, pricing strategy and messaging that resonate with the target audience
  • Partner with brand marketing teams in all regions to support effective product launches and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Be engaged with cross functional product team including engineering, sourcing, service and production to develop the entire product line life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver business objectives.
  • Communicate marketing plans and campaigns with internal stakeholders as appropriate 
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance and use findings to drive continuous improvement 
  • Manage allocated budgets and report regularly on spend against budget

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Medicine or related field required. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of Healthcare Product Management or equivalent work experience required.
  • Confidently and expertly drive various projects to meet stated goals within projected time frames
  • Proven track record of managing multiple activities on a daily basis
  • Healthcare and/or medical device required.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a passion for driving organization change
