As a member of the Breast & Skeletal Health R&D team the student will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds in womens health R&D.  
In this project the student will work with senior mechanical engineers, the project will be focused around optimization of our current DXA table supporting system during motion.
This project will encompass mechanical motion, mechanical loading, and reliability and wear analysis of the current system then re-designing a solution that better supports the patient during scans.  

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference.
In order to be considered for this co-op you must:
  • Be enrolled as a rising junior or senior undergraduate
  • Have a 3.2/4.0 GPA.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working of knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Have a good understanding of Statics and Dynamics.
  • Understand the theory of machines and mechanisms.
  • Ability to build and test prototypes.
  • Can present material using Microsoft applications.
  • Can communicate effectively and collaborates well with others.
  • Able to work from January-June
