-       Bachillerato Universitario con mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en puestos (de grado bachiller universitario mínimo) con similar nivel de responsabilidad, toma de decisiones y resolución de problemas.

-       Maestría (deseable)



-       Minimum five years as a professional in the Accounting/Finance field

-        Medical Industry experience is a plus.


 Specialized Knowledge (Desirable):

-       Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

-        Excellent communication skills and high confidence.

-        Ability to manage multiples priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

-        Organized and proactive.

-       Oracle / Hyperion experience is required

-        MS Office expertise is required

-        Monarch is a plus.

-        Payroll knowledge is a plus.

-        Sarbanes – Oxley Knowledge Section 404

-        USGAAPS and IFRS

-       Bilingual Spanish and English  


 Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:


Standard cost maintenance and systems:

-       Responsible for maintaining standard cost for raw material, WIP and finished goods. Work with Operations team in the calculation of labor and overhead rates. Work with purchasing team in establishing standard costs for purchased components. 

-       Work with HQ to manage all the inventory activities such as Roll ups, standard cost updates and any other intercompany inventory/cost related field.

-       Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

-       Cost Roll Up process on any new subassembly or SKU.

-       BOM's and Routings knowledge.

-       MRP system knowledge.

-       Work orders control, analysis, comparison and closing



-        Review, control and reconcile all inventory accounts including: Raw material, Intransit Inventory, WIP, No conformance material, finished goods, Consignment inventory, Reserves for excess and obsolete Inventory (E&O analysis per USGAAPS), Inventory revaluation reserves.

-        Work with the Warehouse team in cycle counting, receiving, ABC coding, material transfers, subinventory locations, etc.

-        Provide to local and corporate teams with inventory analysis such as inventory breakout by product line, inventory fluctuations on a monthly and quarterly basis, weeks on hand analysis, etc.

-        Ensure that the perpetual inventory is correctly valuated at the end of each period using the actual cost to meet USGAAPS and IFRS critirias.

-        Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.


 Financial reporting:

-       Quality Responsibility (Authority)  Place an "X" in the box

-       Manage Perform Assess Not Applicable

-        Absorption costs analysis.

-        Provide analytical insight and support of Mfg variances: PPV, Cycle counts, WIP Variance, supplies and consumables, obsolescence costs, freight costs, scrap, etc.

-        Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities.

-        Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.

-        Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.

-        Assist in audit process: Internal, External, Procomer, Statutory.

-        Support the development of budgets and forecast processes.

-        Coordination of control for intercompany Sales and COGS.

-        Support the Finance Director with any requirements.



-        Supervise all payroll activities such as: weekly and monthly payroll, local reporting to all the Government Institutions, Overtime reporting and details, etc.

-        Qualifications: Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with company policy.

-        Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.

-        Ability to interact with all levels of employees including senior management.

-        Strong attention to details.

-        Ability to work independently.

-        Ability to perform mathematical calculations or analysis.

-        Ability to adhere/respond to established time frames and schedules.

-        Ability to operate a computer and related software.

-        Strong oral and written communication skills.
