The Director, Service Solution Sales is responsible for achieving and managing national Service Sales business targets exceeding $200M. The Director will have responsibility for establishing compensation targets and formulating an incentive plan to drive high performance within the Service Solution Sales team.   This positon will be responsible to build out process and capabilities for current and future service offerings that drive future service profitability.     

Duties and Responsibilities


·       Develops and executes against strategic business plans to assure sustainable and profitable business results.

·       Executes against the Service Sales revenue growth and develop commission plans that drive the revenue growth for the team.

·       Develop and build an organizational structure that aligns the talent to the strategic objectives.

·       Drives Service sales performance to meet and exceed business objectives related to Service Sales.

·       Proactively works to understand the business need of customer and create solutions that drive sales and service sales. 

·       Collaborates with other Hologic team members and other Hologic resources to achieve desired customer outcomes.

·       Anticipates and navigates situational resistance to new ideas or business development efforts to gain agreement/acceptance.

·       Develop relationships with Service,  Sales and National Accounts to help drive a collaborative sales and service approach with the customer. 

·       Actively meets with top tier customers and leading GPO and IDN customers to support the Service business revenue growth.

·       Develops, manages and negotiates in conjunction with Sales, Service, and National Accounts new and ongoing purchasing agreements with all customers in their region.

·       Manage, coach, and develop staff as well as define and develop insightful analytics to drive continuous improvements.

·       Collaborate with the Service Sales team to develop individual goals and objectives that drive team/individual performance that meet the strategic objectives.

·       Drive process and organizational changes that improve the Service Sales team’s efficiency and effectiveness while enhancing the customer experience.   

·       Demonstrates the ability to attract, develop and retain top talent within the service sales organization. 

·       Drives accountability within the team to fulfill all commitments and model behaviors that drive a collaborative Hologic approach with our customer.  

·       Develop appropriate metrics and measurements that drive/measure individual and team performance. 

·       Assures team is current in the health care field, competitive products, reimbursement changes, and relevant new product introductions which drive retention, expansion, and adoption of new technologies.

·       Ensure to process transactions suitably and efficiently to develop customer confidence plus trust on basis of established procedures and policies.

·       Develop and evaluate weekly and monthly service sales reports.

·       Prepare summary of sales performance against established objectives.

·       Perform as liaison with sales, service, and national account staff to identify support needs.

·       Convey effectual sales practices, develop sales call kits and report sales initiatives.

·       Lead and direct company responsibilities for region like complaints, correspondence, advertising and seminars etc.

·       Coordinate with marketing representatives to assist sales campaigns with client lists, marketing materials, market data and campaign information.

·       Assist company standards to meet established goals, objectives and selling skills.

·       Explain selling behaviors steady with sales guidelines.

·       Assist positive work atmosphere with management as well as co-workers throughout organization.

·       Ensure to embrace personal education, training and development to drive employee engagement and job satisfaction.

Qualifications

·       Strong leadership and communication skills with solid business astuteness and ability to mentor others.

·       Demonstrated project management and presentation skills.

·       Strong pedigree of experience in high performing sales and service sales processes.

·       Capable of building strong relationships with internal team members and external contacts based on trust and communication.

·       Capacity to rapidily learn the key players, products, and technologies.

·       Displays ability to properly define business problems/opportunities and develop effective solutions based on information, facts, and evidence.

·       Strong analytical abilities

·       Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

·       Excellent customer service skills.

·       Ability to manage remote teams.


Education

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       MBA preferred

 

Experience

·       5 plus years of related job experience and demonstrated leadership in medical service sales or sales. 

·       Experience selling biomedical, medical device, imaging or professional service products to hospitals, cancer centers, and B2B partners is strongly preferred.   

 

Additional Details

·       The Director of Service Solutions Sales will be accountable for all U.S. service sales activities and lead a team of approximately 10 other service sales representatives distributed across the country.   You will be charged with leading a national team of experts and responsible for the development, mentoring, and coaching of that team.
