  • Ensure electrical designs are functional, reliable, and meet any applicable requirements
  • Provide clear and concise documentation related to design decisions and theory of operation
  • Develop demonstrable prototype assemblies
  • Implement, develop, and design changes as needed
  • Integrate new features into existing or future designs
  • Design replacements for obsolete components
  • Provide diagnostic support to system and subsystems
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to deliver products as designed in a timely fashion
  • Author test methods and protocols to collect verification evidence
  • Support designs from requirements generation through commercialization

  • Requires minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated expertise and versatility in electronics design – Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, and Power systems
  • Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques for, low noise analog design and high speed digital design
  • Ability to perform basic software/firmware development to assist in the bring-up of embedded systems
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to resolve difficult technical issues with expedited schedules
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Willingness to accept new responsibilities and challenge themselves
  • Demonstrated Technical expertise in:
    • Product Development in a fast-paced environment
    • Systems design making use of Off-The-Shelf and Custom designed circuit boards
    • Experience designing circuit boards with FPGAs, CPLDs, Microcontrollers, ARM and/or x86 Processors
    • Recent experience designing systems utilizing one or more of the following internal and/or external interfaces: USB, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, SDI, I2C, SPI, PCIe, SERDES, Bluetooth, RFID  
    • Signal processing experience
    • Electro-Mechanical systems engineering experience with motion control preferred
    • PCB Design, inclusive of Circuit simulation, Schematic capture, PCB layout and routing.


  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at minimum
