  • Knows and applies fundamental knowledge of HR practices to resolve employee issues.
  • Proven experience in business and HR Integration in an acquisition context is a must.
  • Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar position. Industry qualification or equivalent desirable.
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English essential.
  • Computer literate, in particular HR information systems (Oracle desirable but not essential).
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-directed, but also take direction from all levels of managers within the assigned region, which may result in having to re-prioritize work activities on a regular basis. 
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; effective use of technology to create meaningful reports and measurements required.
  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Strong client and service orientation. Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and diplomacy skills in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Innovative and creative approach to problem solving, planning and implementation. 
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to create, foster and grow business relationships with management and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution oriented approach.
  • Highly organized with a methodical and logical approach to day to day duties.
  • Strong influencing skills and sound judgment, with an ability to challenge client thinking diplomatically, gaining buy-in and offering alternative recommendations as appropriate.
  • Ability to build credibility and engender trust through professional competence and integrity.
  • Highly effective communication skills, proven ability to communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information in written and verbal formats at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent team-player, willing to share workload, knowledge, information and best practices.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and assumes ownership for all tasks undertaken through to conclusion.
  • Challenging and curious, constantly seeks process and service improvements.
