The Manager, Supply Chain Process Excellence is responsible for the strategy & implementation of best-in-class, predictably executed Supply Chain business processes, contributing to breakthrough Customer Experience, Inventory, Cost to serve, and Engagement results

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as a “Change Agent” to drive Business Transformation, engagement, alignment, and ultimately, breakthrough performance aligned with Divisional SC Mission and Vision
  • Coaches and Teaches continuous improvement methodologies and embeds Lean thinking in the Org. to sustain a process-oriented culture
  • Creates the framework & documentation for “as-is” Business processes along the Plan/Source/ Make/Deliver/Return continuum including process mapping/value stream mapping
  • Drives the development and prioritization of high-impact SC improvement programs to achieve ideal “future state” (co-owned with SC functional staff in Planning, Operational Procurement, Logistics, IS, and Field Service to name a few)
  • Supports current and future Hologic Global Planning tool roadmap and implementation including Baxter (Service parts) and Kinaxis (commercial FG) tools, driving appropriate process re-engineering
  • Optimizes Oracle Planning tool performance (ASCP) and works toward a harmonized Planning, data, reporting and KPI approach across Division/Site
  • Defines Operating Models, including but not limited to, Service Parts, Commercial FG, with regional/global differentiation as needed
  • Supports the creation and deployment of the annual Ops./SC Strategic plan
  • Benchmarks competition & alternative industries to bring an outside perspective to improve performance 
  • Provides Supply Chain Program Management leadership & support
  • Develops Supply Chain Training Modules
  • Supports KPI & Dashboard development aligned with business objectives


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, with Sales & Operations Planning and/or  Logistics required
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions, esp. Manufacturing, Planning, & Procurement
  • Demonstrated skills interacting at various levels of an organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Requires considerable interpretation of data, independent judgment, and good analytical ability to handle varied situations
  • Change Agent- demonstrated experience driving business processes transformation and organizational change
  • Advanced knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including S&OP/MRP concepts
  • Supply Chain certification (APICS or CPF) desired
  • Proficiency PC/Window – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook


  • BA/BS or equivalent required in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration/Management, Marketing, or Engineering degree required
  • MBA preferred

Specialized Knowledge

  • Best in Class Planning tool (ie. Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle ASCP) preferrred
  • Qlikview/Qliksense experience a plus
  • SC Planning or ERP Software implementation experience is desirable
