In this role you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse related duties in a GMP manufacturing environment. The team will be responsible for receiving deliveries, inventory control and preparing materials for internal and external customers. They will be responsible for the handling of sensitive materials, accurate completion of paperwork and real-time ERP transaction. You will work safely and to compliant standards at all times. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role and the ability to learn role related skills in a GMP and a highly regulated environment.

Your Key Accountabilities:

  • Loading and unloading of Vehicles
  • Pick, stage, verify and compare identifying information and counts of outgoing released inventory against a system generated pick list and customer sales order
  • Perform computer transactions against open sales orders
  • Performing computer transactions against company Purchase Orders and the process product receipts and returns in the ERP system
  • Perform Cycle counts on paper and Hand-held scanners
  • Awareness of COSHH & Manual Handling Technics
  • Responsible for transportation, handling, and disposal of waste
  • Stage process order requirements are pre-staging raw materials, WIP materials, material requisitions for production and internal customers
  • Communicate effectively with the Team and other departments
  • Operate all warehouse equipment, manual and various motorised forklifts and MHE
  • Support other areas, as requested by Management
  • Housekeeping to ensure safe working environment at all times
  • General warehouse activities as assigned

What knowledge, skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Microsoft Computer skills
  • Knowledge of ERP system.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, stores and packaging functions
  • Reading, Math’s and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions from seniors and management
  • Typically requires High School Qualifications
  • Good mathematical, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn procedures, techniques & safe use of packaging equipment
  • Working knowledge of general safety & record keeping
  • Knowledge of current GMP / ISO regulations
  • Microsoft office application knowledge
  • FLT Trained (VNA would be beneficial)
