As the Regional Sales Manager you will develop, achieve and maintain regional business growth and market share through exceptional sales execution within designated territory. You will be responsible for coaching, developing and engaging their team and motivating them to achieve relevant targets. You will also be responsible for provision of excellence in customer relationship management, customer service and support. In this role you are the effective representative for and positive promotion of the Hologic brand. You will establish and maintain high level Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Drives Results and Sales and Regional Business Performance:
    • Develops and executes against strategic regional business plans to assure sustainable and profitable business results and providing sales solutions
    • Is self-directed in working with their sales team to meet and exceed business objectives
    • Assures their sales team meets the business need of customer not just the sales of the product
    • Collaborates with other team members and other Hologic resources to achieve desired customer outcomes
  • Displays Business Acumen and Organizational Astuteness:
    • Understands customers and company’s business and financial drivers to assist sales team in developing business solutions
    • Ensures sales team are current on the health care field, competitive products, legislation and relevant disease states
    • Builds and leverages relationships at all levels and networks both internally and externally to achieve desired results
    • Anticipates and navigates situational resistance within their region to new ideas or business development efforts to gain agreement/acceptance
    • Properly introduces new team members to the full Hologic environment
  • Influences, Negotiates and Communicates for Impact:
    • Is effective at asking relevant questions and listening to understand business issues and goals within their region and provide mutually beneficial business solutions
    • Builds strong relationships with internal team members and external contacts based on trust and communication
    • Develops, manages and negotiates in conjunction with Key Accounts, new and ongoing purchasing agreements with buying groups and KOL’s in their region
    • Determines what is relevant to different audiences and applies to deliver high impact presentations and make compelling cases
  • Demonstrates Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence:
    • Embraces and encourages learning new skills, knowledge and behaviours
    • Works to become more self-aware and demonstrates self-regulation in making business and personnel decisions
    • Displays ability to properly define business problems and /or opportunities and develop effective solutions based on information, facts and evidence

    • Creates and leads plans for change within their region
    • Understands and focuses on driving sustainable results
    • Demonstrates ability to attract and select strong performer with potential.
    • Provides insight, coaching and development to grow their direct reports to their full potential
    • Holds self and their direct reports accountable to fulfill commitments and model all behaviors asked of others

We are looking for a candidate who has/is:

  • Open Communication, Flexibility, Teamwork, Customer Focus, Organizational Understanding
  • Sales Ability, Planning & Organizing, Technical Expertise, Managing Others, Negotiation, Strategic Orientation
  • Successful (medical) sales experience
  • Experience in a management role for sales team/function
  • Graduate Diploma or Business Administration qualifications – commitment to undertake or in progress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and/or French and good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Holds current drivers licence of relevant class
  • Able to travel 60 – 70% of the time – fluctuating with requirements of the business
