The primary expectation of the role is to drive the DACH Strategy and Tactical plans working in close collaboration with the DACH Sales Lead and Regional Marketing teams. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible to understand current and future market needs and priorities; this includes creation and coordination of 5 year strategic plan, yearly marketing plans, creation and execution of integrated marketing plans for new products, market development, and portfolio life cycle plans aligned to country sales objectives.  Another key focus for this position is effective alignment, prioritisation and management of marketing tactics and activities to retain current customer base, accelerate new customer acquisition, elevate brand awareness, drive demand and flow of product to achieve the business plan across the Breast and Skeletal Health Solutions portfolio.

 

The individual will be a key member of the DACH management team and Regional Marketing team and represent the DACH voice of the customer in the New Product Development process. He/she will be accountable for DACH sales and market share results.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Key participant in Strategic Planning process, Integrated Business Planning process and Demand Planning process
  • Drive the execution of the local business plan in partnership with Country team, namely sales, medical affairs, applications, service, market access, finance teams
  • Develop local integrated marketing programs and execute new product introductions with excellence , including lead generation programs and local communication plans
  • Managing the day-to- day responsibilities of marketing execution – from hands-on operational work to coordinating with agencies and partners for execution, holding them accountable for contractual deliverables and KPIs
  • Analyze market data including competitive activity and regulatory requirements and alter strategies as necessary to inform marketing planning and business strategies and decisions
  • Interact with customers, KOLs, and industry thought leaders to gain insight on market and customer needs
  • Track performance and competitiveness and proactively recommend course corrective actions where appropriate
  • Serves as lead market for specific New Products and integrated communication initiatives
  • Partners with Market Access group to develops and executes strategic initiatives to shape the market environment
  • Partner with the Med Affairs International manager to develop differentiated Med Affairs and Professional Education programs to drive usage and conversion to HLX surgical techniques and procedures
  • Manages own budget (develop budget, monitor expenses vs. budget and analyses impact of activities/expenses)
  • Analyze pricing and ensure pricing policies are aligned with product portfolio objectives
  • Act as Marketing support for all significant tenders and contract negotiations where appropriate
  • Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Hologic Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management

  • You will seek input from the field team (Sales reps and Clinical application specialists), but at the same time be a good coach and challenger of your peers, not shying away from bringing up uncomfortable issues of importance in order to discuss and resolve them

 
 
Key Selection Criteria
  • Marketing experience 
  • Significant brand/product management experience in DACH with a track record of generating innovative ideas, processes or solutions that create value
  • Experience in building integrated marketing communication plans, B2B and as well as B2C in Healthcare and / or Consumer Healthcare
  • Ability to lead, collaborate and influence in a matrix organisation
  • Demonstrated openness to diverse ideas and encouraging the same in others
  • Bachelor Degree required. Master in business or marketing strongly preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in German (native) and English. French is a plus
The successful candidate will need to be able to travel for 50% of the time
