The Senior Product Manager, Skin Franchise creates the marketing strategies and tactics required to meet corporate growth objectives.  This position is responsible for working closely with the cross-functional team and key physicians to implement market development, franchise growth plans and identify downstream marketing opportunities.  The Senior Product Manager will have two direct reports (Product Manager and Associate Product Manager) and will report to the Director of Marketing for the Skin franchise.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Execute all aspects of marketing functional excellence, brand development, customer insight development, product strategies, claims, promotions, messaging, pricing, customer acquisition and retention tactics.
  • Collaborates closely with Sales, Field Marketing, Finance, Commercial Analytics, Clinical, Legal and Regulatory in the execution of the marketing plans.
  • Works closely with Supply Chain to manage forecasts /inventory strategies. 
  • Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and luminaries to gather information and product needs for downstream activities.
  • Work with internal Clinical and Customer Service teams to partner with clinical customer sites in order to achieve product goals.
  • Serve as internal product expert and trainer for sales force.
  • Prepare extensive sales support and launch packages for effective promotion of product enhancements and new product introductions.
  • Drive acquisition of competitor product knowledge and effectively communicate Cynosure’s positioning against our competitors.
  • Lead, monitor and evaluate sales and promotional programs to determine their success.
  • Identify trends throughout the aesthetic marketplace, especially, but not limited to Skin Revitalization.
  • Interacts with multiple functions of the company, luminaries, and customers both internal and external.
  • Establish effective relationships and credibility with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, Operations and Engineering groups.
Qualifications
  • Passionate, self-initiated to drive performance and consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Comfortable in a multi-tasking and fast-paced downstream marketing team environment.
  • Demonstrates strategic and competitive mindset
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong project management and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to influence and build effective relationships with team members in other functional areas
Education
  • BS or BA in marketing or related field with 7-10 years of experience in product management or product marketing. Combination of sales and marketing experience will be considered.
Experience
  • Experience in Medical Device marketing is preferred. Aesthetic product marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience beyond product management, proven knowledge building brands and developing consumer facing market programs (digital marketing and social media).
