Summary

Hologic is focused on transforming the Quote to Order business processes and enabling technologies.  As a member of the Customer Experience Solutions Information Services team, the Sr. IS Business Partner will play a critical role driving both process and system improvements in the Quote to Order domain for both internal and external customers around the globe.  Specific emphasis will focus on developing the strategies to support Quote to Order capabilities to influence an optimal customer experience.  This team member will interact with various parts of the organization for Sales and Service Sales that play a role in Quote and Contract creation, Negotiation, Quote Presentation and Execution for Order Creation or establishment of Contracts. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide business process guidance, solution architecture and on-going operational support
  • Build partnerships and become a trusted business advisor with functional stakeholders in the business and across Information Services
  • Develop approaches and define business cases to support investments in prioritized projects
  • Work with Service Sales and Commercial Sales organization stakeholders to establish priorities and develop business cases to support system and project initiative investments
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) in the Salesforce CPQ space for Service and Commercial Sales business areas
  • Develop domain expertise to introduce best practices, business process guidance, and solution innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on impacts of business decisions across the Salesforce.com and Oracle e-Business Suite (ERP for order creation and fulfillment) platforms and provide input on processes and policies that affect related organizations
  • Collaborate with business partners to assess and prioritize priorities and opportunities and use them to design and implement innovative solutions
  • Maintain a constant focus on enabling simple, holistic, and intuitive user experience
  • Challenge legacy processes and policies that complicate the internal and external Customer Experience and provide actionable recommendations
  • Drive the periodic release cycles and work with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements
  • Evaluate the major functional releases of enabling technologies for suitability to the Hologic business processes

Qualifications:

  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills to build partnerships & manage initiatives with business and Information Services
  • Solid understanding of key business areas including Quoting, Quote/Contract Negotiation, Pricing/Contract Administration and the ability to apply this knowledge to the related business areas
  • Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mindset
  • Experience working with business owners and stakeholders to develop and document business needs and turn into working solutions
  • Skilled at translating technical/system concepts into terms business users can understand
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives
  • Strong business process analytical skills, solutions architecture, team building and communications skills
  • Experience in project management, specifically plan development through execution
  • Experience performing testing activities, including writing test documentation and testing applications prior to release to production
  • Skilled at influencing others to achieve results
  • Proactive, responsive, and results-driven
  • Ability to respectfully challenge the status quo

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Business Management

Experience:

  • 5 – 8 years professional experience
  • 3+ years Salesforce Administrator strongly preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of experience implementing and supporting solutions covering Quoting, Quote/Contract Negotiation and Pricing/Contract Administration business activities preferred
  • Experience in Healthcare or Medical Device industry preferred
  • Experience implementing Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) strongly preferred

Additional Details:

  • Position is based in Marlborough, MA
  • Periodic travel may be required
