The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for driving Service SC Excellence through exceptional data analytics, KPI’s, and process improvement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Supports and enhances all WW Order-to-Delivery processes to achieve a minimum 98% on-time delivery
  • Generates, consolidates and analyzes multiple daily, weekly, and monthly reports across the Planning, Inventory, and Service Level continuum.
  • Analyzes Inventory across multiple DC, Plant, and Forward stocking Locations (FSL’s) to ensure inventory health
  • Supports Demand & Supply Planners through forecast reporting, and related forecast accuracy reporting
  • Influences the item A/B/C stratification and aligns safety stock targets for each
  • Aligns with 3PL partners to drive scorecarding and improvements
  • Owns, manages, and updates the Distribution Center plans (DRP) to properly deploy inventory into the global DC and FS Trunk Stock network
  • Minimizes excess & obsolete inventory through rigorous stock re-balancing
  • Lead and Manage Inventory, Service Level, and Freight mode optimization projects as needed
  • Identify and escalate issues that impact the efficiency of the Service Parts fulfillment process
  • Conducts root cause analysis to understand stock outs/backorders
  • Audit Parts orders for accuracy as needed
  • Utilize IS solutions (Oracle, Qlik, Agile etc.) to streamline Spare Parts fulfilment procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with interdependent groups to automate the Spare Parts support processes and create cost reduction opportunities wherever feasible.
  • Support programs to aimed at reducing transportation and warehousing costs
  • Provides support to project teams as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • APICS certification desired
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with changing levels of priority due to customer and field service demands
  • Requires considerable interpretation of data, independent judgment, and good analytical ability to handle varied situations
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions
  • Demonstrated skills interacting at various levels of an organization
  • Experience implementing new business processes and supporting organizational change
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills including statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including S&OP/MRP concepts is
  • Proficiency PC/Window – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision


  • Bachelor’s Degree required


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, or Analytics 

Specialized Knowledge

  • Knowledge of MPS, MRP, capacity planning, and production control
  • Oracle ERP Planning, ASCP preferred
  • Baxter Prophet Planning Software preferred
  • SC Planning or ERP Software implementation experience is desirable
