The Sr Training Specialist will drive BSH Divisional growth and improved performance outcomes through the coordination of all Learning & Development programs. This will be accomplished working closely with the L&D team, as well as field sales and sales leadership. In addition to initial new hire training [New Hire Program (NHP)], subsequent advanced elective courses, Field Sales Training program, JumpStart, National Sales Meeting, L&D meetings, and Field Leadership Manager meetings. Includes co-creation of agendas, field communications, and the coordination of tools, surveys, materials, and resources necessary to support impactful training and development outcomes. This position includes administration duties for Hologic’s LMS platform, Cornerstone [Hologic Learning Edge], learning and development programs.  The coordinator is responsible for uploading courses, tracking, problem solving, scoring content, running reports, and supporting the team with related LMS trainings and needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS) for the Learning & Development (L&D) Department
  • Upload and integrate content and courses into LMS
  • Track, score, problem solve learner challenges, run and create reports related to the LMS programs.
  • Monitor and track eLearning/homestudy compliance via LMS reporting, in-class assessments, and class evaluations  providing summaries or reports as needed
  • Schedule and support new hire sales training; coordinate presenters, manage attendees, materials, schedules; organization and assembly of course materials.
  • Accountable for onboarding of new hires and organizing field sales coaches and accompanying Clinical/Sales Directors/Managers according to the SOP to include welcome emails, coordination of calls, onsite orientation and training webinars as needed.
  • Manage registration process and provide registration support
  • Support creation and amendment of agendas, coordination of materials and set up of room/facility for training related meetings
  • Maintain calendar of all sales L&D training activities in LMS
  • Craft and send field communications to inform on training programs
  • Order and prepare/coordinate training materials to include ordering catering for events and off-site event set up
  • Ensure inventory levels and distribution needs are met for training materials
  • Amend learner journeys and agenda tracks for the successful LMS assignment of content for trainings
  • Own the quality assurance of training documents ( Agile process), such as presentations or PDFs
  • Manage PO/invoice process updating budget
  • Manage Box and HUB updates and content uploading coordinating with owner of LMS
  • Occasional coordination of sales activities such as contests and coordination of disbursements via the field distribution lists
  • Support L&D team with design, development, or measurement of learning curriculums as appropriate including crafting surveys and providing reports.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: 

  • Experience with LMS and eLearning required.  Cornerstone a plus
  • Strong project management, organizational and administrative skills. Able to articulate a plan and manage multiple tasks to achieve stated goals and objectives. 
  • Ability to meet and manage competing timelines. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic. Self-starter. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated assertive, persuasive, and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to develop and deliver professional presentations (if needed), strong organization and time-management skills
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Marketing or communication a plus. Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5 + years coordinating learning / training programs or equivalent work experience.

Travel requirements of position is approximately 20%
