Job Summary
Full-time, experienced Supervisor who will be responsible for managing Complaints Product Support group within Quality. They will be responsible to continue to maintain the turn-around-time and compliance expectations for assay related complaints.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. 
  • Oversee department requirements and schedules
  • Manage laboratory maintenance and retention process
  • Allocate department resources in accordance with department goals and corporate goals
  • Participate in department objectives as specified by Manager and provide periodic status reports
  • Takes the lead or assists in writing procedures, protocols and reports
  • Maintains department and performance metrics
  • Create area guidelines to enhance department activities
  • Lead/conduct meetings as appropriate
  • Provides guidance to junior staff for performing investigations and executing projects
  • Coordinates all validation protocols and reports in alignment with company priorities
  • Supervises the daily activities of non-exempt and exempt staff members
  • Maintains equipment in a calibrated state 
  • Point of contact for complaint investigations assigned by QA 
  • Leads Investigations and projects with or without support from the staff scientists
Qualifications
Education          
  • BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology or related fields 
     
    Experience         
  •  2 plus years supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills
  • Root cause analysis and/or problem solving
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Oracle, Agile.
