Hologic have a truly fantastic opportunity for a Recent Graduate to join our team in Manchester as a Supply Chain Analyst. If you are a natural with numbers, enjoy solving complex problems, as well as having excellent communication skills then please keep reading!

This role will enable you to work with a broad range of departments including Finance, IS, Logistics & Customer Services across EMEA, travel to our offices in Europe and the US, and give you an amazing opportunity to build relationships with senior stakeholders in the business.

 

We want you to enjoy using and analyzing data with the help of industry wide analytical tools – Extracting data in Polaris reporting tool, transforming the data in Excel and visualizing/interpreting the data with the help of market-leading business intelligence tools such as Qliksense & Qlikview.


Below you’ll find more information on the key responsibilities of the role:


As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting business solutions though data analysis & insights resulting in the overall improvement of the EMEA Hologic supply chain operations. Overlooking the total end to end supply chain including inbound, warehousing, & outbound logistics.  You will own & deliver performance measures for costs, order fulfilment & inventory levels.


The role is networked with the rest of the EMEA Supply Chain team with opportunity to advance a career in Project Management &/or Continuous Improvement.


Your main duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the strategy and lead the implementation of the EMEA KPI control tower reporting on Supply Chain KPIs to measure and improve customer service, P&L costs and inventory holdings
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests by utilising functional knowledge & technical skills to support data driven decision making
  • Identify & analyse opportunities for improvement in the EMEA supply chain.
  • Proactively suggest resolutions to problems & issues
  • Drive process improvement objectives and prioritisations across EMEA Supply Chain
  • Track the completion of project tasks with growing ownership for the planning & implementation of identified improvement opportunities.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships within Supply Chain, Sales & 3PL to promote information sharing, project awareness & connecting Business Units
We are looking for a candidate who has/is:

  • Highly numerate
  • Strong Excel ability
  • Qliksense & Qlikview experience
  • Capable of capturing and transforming an idea/concept into business opportunity and deliver positive result in a team environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple functions and regions
  • Ability to plan and organise work to performed assigned tasks in a timely manner
