Major duties and responsibilities:

• Conducting sales calls our surgical products with surgeons, physicians, nurses, purchasing, controlling, etc.

• To achieve implementation, development and maintenance of a network of surgeons, doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, payers, health institutions and other parties, the sales targets.

• Planning and implementing a tactical marketing plan.

• Meeting the revenue target objectives for all products, including capital expenditures and associated consumables.

• Support in the field of surgical procedures and the technical surgery products and providing constant customer services in accordance with company policy.

• Analysis of own sales area and reporting on product performance, competition, products, marketing practices and customer satisfaction.

• Analysis and understanding of the reimbursement and financial situation of the customer (bunk and surgical utilization, coding and billing, documentation, MDK-test) and support to customers in their optimization.

• Planning and conducting training

• Timely dispatch of orders, sales planning and creating expense reports.

• Direct and immediate communication between customer and service requests.

• Managing and updating forecasts / marketing activities and customer contacts.

• Setting up and testing of territorial budgets.

• Reporting on the status quo of the area, product acceptance, product performance and competitive activity.

• Participation in all corporate training, sales meetings, conferences, exhibitions and courses on developments in the art.

• Compliance with all company policies, procedures, instructions and arrangements to achieve the objectives and maximize profitability.


• Flexibility, self-motivation and team orientation

• Good analytical skills, strong work ethic and high personal integrity

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication leadership and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor of Arts / Science

• Willingness to work in an operating room environment with proven ability to work with surgeons.

• Ability to successfully develop business relationships with key decision makers within a system based on a new product technology and operational procedures market.

• Experience with the German reimbursement system (DRG, EBM, GOÄ) and integrated care contracts would be an advantage

• Good Microsoft Office skills

• Fluent English skills
